Leading up to ANZAC Day, national Call to Greatness Day on Friday 23rd April inspired young Australian’s to be great and to help disadvantaged and marginalised youth. The Royal Australian Navy’s HMAS Waterhen hosted the inaugural national Call To Greatness Day.

Every 11 hours, an Australian woman will die from ovarian cancer, but knowing the symptoms could save their lives!
In an Australia Day announcement, Jean Kittson and 11 Australian women from many walks of life came together at 11am to promote the fact that “Australian women need to learn the symptoms of ovarian cancer – Don’t leave it until the 11th Hour!”
It was a celebration with no beer when Dr Michael Jackson (Director of Radiation Oncology Prince of Wales Hospital), Phil Grove (Dry July Founder), Tom Williams, Roy Billing, Brett Macdonald (Dry July Founder), Kenny McGilvary (Dry July Founder), Leanne Zalapa (CEO Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation) and Mark Robinson (Dreams 2 Live 4 Founder) launched Dry July at the Prince of Wales Hospital Oncology Unit.
